Early evening maple leaves, a lightly soiled manfs tabi(socks).

In the early evening of the beautiful maple leaf season, I noticed that a manfs tabi were a little soiled. The soil on this manfs tabi was from just one working day that was almost over.

Menfs kimono style is very charming. A man who is accustomed to wearing kimono and has a little soil on his tabi; from this we can deduce the elegant but busy day he has had.

Japanese bush clover blossoms fall all over with one paper sliding door leftopen.

Blossoms of Japanese bush clover have been falling in the garden outside of an open paper sliding door. Is the one door left open in order to see the fully bloomed bush clovers from inside, or is it to inflame on the state of affairs inside of the sliding door?

The Japanese bush clover blossoms are falling all over beautifully in the bright autumn sunlight, and there is dimness inside of the room behind the white paper sliding door. Inside of the dark room, perhaps it is an intense feeling of love that is falling all over.

Love oracles, showing each otherfs under the light of red maple leaves.

Under the beautifully colored maple leaves, some girls are showing each other their love oracles. By reading the othersf oracles, they are rejoicing and sympathizing with them.

The bright colored leaves are shining over the strips of love oracle and the girls. The faintly red sunlight that shines through the maple leaves reflects the young girlsf hearts. This one scene added gaiety to my trip to Kyoto.

Chrysanthemum weather, following the stepping-stones.

A lady is walking along on the stepping-stones, one at a time, in a Japanese garden. Especially when she is wearing a Japanese kimono, walking on those stones makes her figure appear more beautiful and makes it easier for her to walk.

The chrysanthemum is the flower that represents Japanese autumn. A fine autumn day is cool and clear, as if made for the chrysanthemums that are blooming at their best with dignity and beauty. In the air of the firm and dignified chrysanthemum weather, the tension is felt in the atmosphere of the graceful walk. Perhaps a formal but happy event is waiting for her at the end of those stepping-stones.

The moon over the ancient city is as red as the days spent without seeing him.

After I spent many days without seeing him, the moon I happened to look up at one night was red. It looked as if it reflected my longing for him.

In the ancient times, the form of Japanese marriage was husbands visiting their wives. No matter how much a woman wished to see her husbands, it was impossible to do so at her will in those days. When their thoughts were on their husbands or lovers, those women, too, must have looked up at the moon.

The ancient city, Kyoto, has watched over many loves in the past thousand years. The thoughts from many lovers accumulated since the ancient times may have increased the redness of the moon over Kyoto.
