Alone at night, the fragrance from the first cut into a peach.
I was going to eat a peach in the quiet night, so I cut into the peach with
my knife. The moment I cut into a beautiful peach made me feel a sense of
self-torture as if I have cut into a womanfs soft skin.
But the moment I cut into the peach the sweet fragrance spread. While I was
surrounded with the noble fragrance, I felt as if I was being pulled into
another level of consciousness.
If I were eating peaches with many friends, the feeling would be different.
But being alone at night made me feel this way.

Applying lipstick, tangled Japanese bush clover in the mirror.
When I was applying my make-up, I saw Japanese bush clover behind me
reflected in the mirror.
Just like the expression gtangled Japanese bush clover,h the bush clover
in the mirror were blooming with their branches tangled together. I am
applying my lipstick with the bush clover reflected in my mirror. Lipstick
is a@narcissism exclusive to women, and the tangled Japanese bush clover
symbolize the agitation of womenfs minds.

Night of the full moon, ripples in the water basin.
The teahouse water basin is set in front of the teahouse. The breeze that
blows across the tea garden makes ripples on the surface of the water basin.
That night happened to be a quiet night under a full moon. The moon was
casting its bright light on the cleanly swept garden. The air was cool and
clear; a touch of loneliness, the abundance of the autumn harvest. This was
unmistakably the scenery of a Japanese autumn.

Locustsf sound, stops you from leaving.
Locusts (technically cicadae because they sing in the evening) begin to sing
at the end of a day. Their cool sound is very charming with a feeling of
melancholy.
Many times, when the locusts begin to sing, the sound stops a person ready
to leave. Sometimes even a lover who must leave in the evening; love is
never eternal.
The locusts sing throughout their short-lived lives. Perhaps we feel the
sound is charming because of their frailty. We may be able to relate it to
love.
