Sea shells, collecting the September rain.The sea in spring, summer, autumn, and winter; the sea has many expressions.September is not quite the autumn sea, yet it has a feeling of desolation because it is no longer summer. Beaches in September still have the appearance of summer's hustle and bustle. There are the remains of beach sandals and cigarette boxes, the evidence that families and lovers spent their happy summer here. Because the merry time of summer is now gone, we may feel even more desolate. Now it is September and raining on the beach. There is not a soul on the rainy beach, and all I see are some sea shells that are collecting the rain. The rain is warm as if it still has summer's heat. And the sea shells are as if left there by the summer. I felt these sea shells collecting water were the symbolic of summer's end.
